·       Who is The Grifter Brewing Co?

With no other plan but to make good and honest beers, The Grifter Brewing Company began when three friends Matt King, Glenn Wignall and Trent Evans set out to do just that in 2012. Proudly independent to this day, we have been steadily running their own race ever since. The original plan hasn’t changed, either.  From the far-out and fruit-driven to classic styles with a new world spin, every Grifter beer is made with best-quality hops, malts and sheer drinkability in mind. Simply, it’s got to be a beer before anything else and there’s something in our tanks for anyone who wants to enjoy a classy one.  

·       What’s your favourite The Grifter Brewing Co. drink and why?

Personally, I stick to our Pale. Line & length consistency, always fresh & always tasting bang on! I've been doing this for 12 years and I think my pallet has just grown a bit tired. I like the simple pleasure of beer :) 

·       What is your favourite place to go to in Inner West Sydney? 

There are so many great local places to hit in the Inner West, we are truly spoiled for choice. Shout out to - The Marrickville Tennis Club for lunch, A henson park hotel counter meal & a few games of pool, Bella Brutta in Newtown for some of the best pizza in Sydney, Bar Planet for a Martini, Cairo Takeaway for a falafel sandwich... I could go on & on! 

·       What events or films are you most excited to attend at this year’s Inner West Film Fest? 

The Outdoor cinema at the Marrickville Golf club sounds like a must. Love that club and kickin' back on the course sounds very lush! 

·       What do you think would be the best film to watch when drinking

We pride ourselves on making beers to enjoy on all occasions! But if I had to choose, I'd go for an Omen Oatmeal Stout with some kind of horror flick 👿
